Agreement: Waiver of Responsibility

For consideration to participate in the Brandon Independence Day Celebration Parade to be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008; I, the signer for myself and my group, including all successors and representatives, agree:

Agree to abide by all applicable city and state laws.
Assume any and all risks to myself, my group, and/or/our property.
Agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the sponsor, officers and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, losses and expenses caused by or arising in connection with the parade
If driving a motor vehicle or float in the parade, I declare that I am fully insured to operate said vehicle/float and that I carry liability insurance to cover property damage and physical injury to others.
If participation in the parade with an animal. I declare that I will take total responsibility for any actions of the animal.
Agree to not throw or spray any items or water into the crowds at any point on the parade route.
Agree that any emergency vehicles and crews participating in the parade will be off duty, and are not required to respond to an emergency on July 4, 2009 between the hours of 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

By signing this form, I acknowledge having read this form and agree to all rules and regulations. I have read these guidelines to all the members of my group and have discussed them thoroughly prior to the parade.
