The Vermont Chamber of Commerce has declared the Brandon Independence Day Celebration as one of the Top Ten Events of the Summer. The day long celebration will be held on July 4th in 2009, the first Saturday of July. The Parade begins at 1 pm but the park opens at 9:00 am for activities, games, music, and food. Activities, food and fireworks at dusk at Park Village (1-1/2 miles north of town on Route 7 - the former Brandon Training School).
